What else for a Nanocube?

What other expenses are their for the setting up of a 12 gallon Eclipse as far as filtration goes?

eclipse, you said? nothing for filtration. all eclipse taks come with the filter and light built into the hood. the filter is a biowheel. and carbon bag. not much more expensesm cept for plants, fish, and bottom.

Not sure what you are asking. The nanocube is different than the eclipse 12 gallon...

Oh, I thought it was the same tank. My bad. I was just asking what else it would take to get one of these tanks up and running.

sand, water (make sure it is saltwater), and live rock should do the trick on getting it up and running..

but seriously most of those units come with a filter and you don't really need anything else. you could look into getting a protien skimmer, a heater, and make sure the lights are good enough for what you are looking to do with the tank.

I was thinking about doing a mini reef or maybe a species type of thing. Not sure yet. Just seemed appealing because of the low cost.
