i know my cleanup crew is not as large as it needs to be, but im adding more all the time. Right now i have about 20 hermits, 15 turbos, and a few peppermints. What else should i get (what other kind of snails, hermits, shrimp) I need something that will keep my sand bed cleaner, could i get a few fighting conches? I just need some imput on what i should eventually have for a effective cleanup crew.
Thanks,
Mark

like the above post I would add a couple of fighting conch and also some nassarius snails. both of these will specificly clean your sand bed. You might want to add some trouchas, cerith, stomatella snails as well. These are three good snails to have as they will readily reproduce in your tank and they do not fall over a die like most other snails. I also like mini brittle stars and worms as they are great detrivores. I bought six mini stars a 8 months ago ago and now I can count more than 40 on any given night in my tank as they reproduce fast.

My 2 fighting conchs and my nassarius snails also keep my sandbed very clean. I have Hawaiian Turbos, Nerite and strobus grazers also. Something has laid eggs and I have probably close to 500 tiny snails that come out and climb up the glass at night, but they are so small I can't tell what kind they are yet.

i am a fan of queen conch and blue knuckle hermits, you might look into seeing if those are avialable in your area, or from swf on your next order.
