Sorry,,,but it'd be difficult to answer your question and be specific.
The possible answers to your question are endless....
I'd use a decent hang-on skimmer(I like CPRs BacPac 2r myself)...a couple of Maxijet 600's for circulation...possibly a hang-on mechanical filter for carbon...then a decent amount of quality LR and a modest 3" or so live sand bed.
But ... thats me...what you'd prefer will depend on your experience level and what you vision your system to be.Each and every system is different and no two are the same...each evolves and develops differently...so it'd be real tough to satisfactorally answer your questions.
