what EXACTLY do the ICH MEDS do???

do they kill the living ich on the fish? do they kill the ich after hatching? what do they do?

The only viable "ich medication" is copper. It works by interrupting the parasite's life cycle at at the "free-swimming" stage. Alternatively, hyposalinity, which is not a medication but a treatment, prevents reproduction. Neither of theses treatments work at killing parasites that are on the fish itself.
