Pros...manageable size for an eel (30 inch max), fairly peaceful (for an eel), extremely hardy, good price.
Cons...Its still an eel and can be very aggressive, escape artist...Why buy one when a Snowflake Eel has the same pros and is far more attractive (just my opinion of course).

If I was you I would go with a snow flake eel . They are a lot better looking eel in my opinion.
