What fish is this?

Does anyone know what type of fish this is?
I was told that it was a "lookdown fish". Doesn't sound correct. The fish gets large, totally silver, with a extremely slanted face, I have seen them kept in large numbers.
If anyone could provide information as to what is the name, how much it costs, where it is from, where I can buy one, how many should I keep together, how big do they get, etc..
I know that this is really vague, but I can't seem to figure out how to add a picture. They want a URL site and I don't have one to put the picture on.

They are called "lookdown fish" at least that's what they were called when I have seen them. One fish store I go to has a huge display tank from the floor to the ceiling with a couple in there, and they were about I'd say 17" I don't know how big they get, but I think they were around $400, maybe more. I'm sure they need a huge tank.

Yew they are called "Lookdown fish" They get pretty big. I've seen them sold at the fishmarket!
