What fish should I get

I put a 125 gal tall Casco sea Clear in the wall. Tank has black background and was encased in black home made wood case(made out of 24" x 3/4" bull nose shelving) and this was put in the wall. No trim yet around tank but thinking black. LCD TV above tank (This is my man room) so my question what type of fish should I put in this tank. Here is info on set up:
125 tall with pre filter
pro-clear 150 wet/dry with skimmer
6X65 pc light kit
130 watt 10k
130 watt blue light
130 watt 50/50
I have about five years experience but been out of the hobby for over ten years.
I had 155 gal wet/dry with nurse shark
55 gal ugf with a couple of triggers, puffer, eel, lion fish
Not much interest in coral (this could change) but I like the idea of aggressive fish (kinda manly) Would black sand look good with this? (back, bottom, sides are black) LR?
I plan on filling my tank this weekend so i have to figure out what color sand or if i should just use crushed coral. Any ideas anybody

Hi Skyman!
I'm not into agressives, but I do have one comment about your setup. The TV above the tank might not be the best way to go. Saltwater evaporation could find you replacing that equipment in short order. :scared:
Also in my opinion, black sand will detract from the tank. White sand (NOT crushed coral) would be more striking. Just MO.

Stay away from crushed coral, its harder to keep clean. As for agressive fish, u can usually mix some eels with triggers and Puffers. U could possibly throw in a larger angel.

I have to agree with the TV above the tank unless you are absolutely sure that no evaporation can get to it. that would an expensive mistake.
stay away from CC it will cause many many hardships down the road.
I would go with the white sand myself if everything else is black it wouldnt give much definition to the tank plus black sand like black cars will show alot of dirt and debris plus it has no buffering qualities.
You really need to figure out weither or not you are even going to consider a reef because if you are then its best to plan your fish selections around a reef tank so that you dont have to pull fish out and try to find them homes in a few months.

I am kinda thinking that the white sand is my best idea. My fish tank is in the wall and I have a 42" lcd wall mount above it. Any evaperation (top sealed only two covers about 6"x12" each) should be on the back side of wall. (laundry room) tank is made by Sea-Clear Acrlyic) All stuff has arrived put need to finish electrical. I should be filling the tank this weekend will post pics after. I also built in the wall stands for all components for lcd (hd-dvd,xbox360,sat receiver, and receiver for surround sound. When I built the in wall shelves I put plastic bubble wrap between plywood and finish wood (to prevent moisture from getting to electronic components). I hope there is no problem with evaporation and my electronics. Any one in Souther WI northern IL that has live sand or live rock. When should I put live sand and live rock in tank (beggining of cycle, mid,or end) Been out of the hobby for ten years but have five years experience. ANY INFO WILL BE HELPFULL. I want to do it right the first time. If this goes well my next summer project is going to put 20 foot long 18" high in wall that connects to garage.

as long as its sealed it should be alright so the moisture wont be able to travel up to the eectronics.
as far as when its better to put as much in the tank to start the cycle if you can all the rock and the sand. adding more later depending on your source of the rock it may not be cured or partially cured and can thow your tank back into another cycle. If it does and you have stock in the tank it can kill them with the added cycle.

Thank you all. Still looking for live sand or rock in southern WI norhtern IL. How much sand do I need. Remember I going to have Fish Only and some Rock (more for decoration and hidding for eel) Will be filling tank Saturday (assuming I get the electrical ran) Anybody have a Sea Clear Tank? Actually does need some cleaning info on cleaning Acrylic. Thanks for all the time everyone has given me. One more question. Where in my can I put my chem filter. I have a pro-clear 150 with skimmer. Can a buy a bag of activated charcol (spell) and just through into sump. Also my last tank (my friend helped set up) He put a screen over the eggcrate (bio balls sit on) and put a small layer of live sand there. Is this still adviseable? Thanks again for all your help

you may want to look at online sources you will get a batter deal on the rock I have been seeing it for 160-200$ for 45-50 #s as far as live sand honestly if you are useing LR the critters and bacteria will mograte down into the sand. I have never purchased LS just LR.

depends on what you are wanting either a DSB or SSB I have had both and had a DSB crash and cause many problems so I wont have another installed in any of my tanks there are many threads about it on here just do a search for DSB crash and it should come up.
my personal preference is a 2-3 inch bed of sand
there is a sand calculator here https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ory=0&x=5&y=14
Actually does need some cleaning info on cleaning Acrylic
you can contact the manufacturer of the tank to see what they recomend on a new tank so it doesnt void the warranty and all..
Where in my can I put my chem filter.
I am sure not usre on this one. is the tank driled or is it a standard tank. I will let some else answer it though cause I really dont know.

. yeah you can or add it into a high flow area in the filtration system just dont run it all the time it can release everything it collects back when its full.

as long as you can still get to the biobals to clean them out occasionaly I dont see a problem with this.
