what for filtration

Ok I'm planning on setting up a 29 gallon. What sort of filtration do I need? Its going to be live rock with the possibility of eventually adding coral. :notsure:

i have heard that for reefs that a deep sand bed and lots of live rock and a sump or fuge is best but for a fo or fowler that you should replace the sump/fuge wit mechanical filtration.
