What I thought was a sponge is now...

responding to light and has two "mouths". The mouths protrude, like a sun coral, but much smaller.
I was happy when I thought it was an orange sponge

Now that I take a closer look it is more sac-like. The sac is flesh colored, the mouths are orange-red with white stripes. I have seen a few tiny critters come out of the mouth but they are so small I can't identify them.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Sorry I don't have my camera with me.

So I have done more reading and I'm sure I have a sea squirt.
Is this a bad thing? If so, how do you get rid of it?
The site that I spotted it on showed tiny flatworms coming out of it. Now I'm worried.

Sea squirts, or tunicates, are harmless filterfeeders.
