Wow, that looks like you can get a really nice amount for that system. I would not settle for anything less than a few thousand, if not a lot more. There was a 700 gallon system sold online a few months ago for $22,000. You just need to find the right person to buy it from you.

I'd say $2,500 is a fair price. Can you get that on short notice from a local buyer? That's a different question. Shipping that system would be prohibitive as far as cost goes. Since your going to have to go to a lot of trouble dismantling it anyway when you sell it, I'd say take it with you.

Hey I gave $3000.00 for my 210 as it sat then moved it and reworked the sump and lights. It just depends on who see's it andhow much they know about the hobby! If you piece it out you may not sell it all! If you advertise it sell it for at lest $3000.00 and add something if you help move it and reset it!

That 700 gallon tank never sold....he still has it.......Who was the builder of the tank? It's hard to actually put a price value on a system, because most won't pay top dollar.......What do you have invested in the setup?

I'd have to agree with that figure, maybe a little more though....

Devaji108 hey I live in Sheridan, WY. Jackson Hole, WY is great just a little different. Was over for first 10 days of September for an elk hunt. While there I had to check out fish stores - there were 3! Two had salt. One however had a problem while I was visiting one of the employees had killed the whole salt water sysyem. One huge sump had served as filter for all displays and something got added that wiped out everything. By now it should be taken care of. Jackson has more millionaires per capita than anywhere else in Wyoming - catering to the rich is Jacksonhole! So lfs is the least of your worries. Finding a place to live however that is another question!

The guy who owns it is a personal good friend of mine, we do setups together........The guy backed out, and wanted to offer less, and my buddy said no......He still has the tank....currently he's in the process of building a "greenhouse"...he's getting into coral farming.........

It's harder to sell it as a whole unit......Either people balk at the price or only want certain pieces and you'd make more piecing it out.....
