what is a good sand sifter

what works well to move around sand so it doesn't get brown anywhere. I want it to look nice and clean

Bunch of choices...nassarious snails are popular...I have 5 of them...they burrow in the sand...they are small but fast.
You can also get a sand star...a lot of people are against them saying they deplete your sand bed, but I have one, and I have pods galore in mine. I'm not saying people are wrong, but mine does a good job, and I have plenty of pods.

Depending on youe tank size? I have a sand sifting starfish in my 210 gallon, most people will say they are depleteing all you worms, but mine just cant keep up and he cant get to sand under rock,whatever works for you,I stir the top by hand to prevent the brown spots, once a week does it for me,

My sleeper gobbie makes my 75 totally sifted, in fact i
is so sifted that I probably have nothing lliving in my sand
and it makes my nitrates by a bit higher than I would like
