Hiya,
Some would say you don't need to feed these corals, except the sun. On the sun, each individual polyp needs to be fed. However, I put DT in my tank at least 2 times a week to "feed" the filter feeders. Occassionally some of the mysian shrimp I feed my fish will fall on the hammer, torch or 'room and I see them move this food towards their mouths.

i heard micro-plankton or cyploteeze... or something along those lines or phytoplankton, would benefit all of them.

I target feed cyclop-eeze to my hammer, frogspawn, brain, and candy cane!! Last night I tried giving some to my SPS (effloerescence) but I don't think he really ate any.
Oh, I even fed my frogspawn a silverside once. One of those skinny white ones, it was cool to see it's tail hanging out of the top of the coral.
I take a shotglass, fill it with aquarium water, put in a squirt of Phyto, and a small chunk of the frozen cyclop-eeze, stir and then feed using a syringe I got from the

I put DTs in my tank for the hammer and frog - 3 times a week. The sun you will have to target feed. I had one for 1 1/2 years real pretty. Just gave up one week.

What do yall think about Marine snow? I have been feeding my tank of zoos Marine snow for about 2 weeks and they seem to be fine, but I just added a frogspawn today and I am thinking about adding a candy cane also. I can't get either the DT or the Cyclo around here. Is it worth ordering them? Thanks.
