what is fragging?

sorry for the newbie question but im getting ready to start a reeftank and i hear all the time about people fragging there corals. also what do i need to frag and what are some of the techniques to frag? and do i need to wear gloves while touching corals. thanks for the help

fragging is basically, in laymens terms, cause its the only explanation i can come up with LOL, its where you basically break the coral into smaller pieces, either for sale, trade, or to spread it around your tank
