what is growing out of sand

my tank is 175 fo/lr and i have what looks like little tubes about 1/4 or 1/2 inch long and about the size of spaghetti wide and covered with sand.growing out of the sand.can anybody tell me what this is.

You wouldnt happen to have Nassarius Snails?

they are a kind of tube worm,i have several,they build the sand up so they can feed without being eaten
