What is it? Help!

I'm not able to get a picture of this as it's growing up the side of a rock and can't shoot a pic at that angle. I'm hoping my description will be good enough.
Ok.... It's a brownish tube that has been growing up the back side of a piece of liverock for the last couple months. The tube is now about an inch long and less than a 1/4 inch in diameter. I think I saw two antennas poking out of the top of the open tube. Over the past 2 days it's been sending out what looks like a white web thats a few inches long. It usually ends up all over my Gorgonians. I keep cleaning it off and tearing away the "web" stringy stuff, and the next day it's back.
Does anyone know what this might be, and if it's harmful to my other corals and fish?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, they are a sessile snail, meaning they don't move. They are generally harmless although stringy mucus they emit can bother corals if it gets on them.
