It's a moni brittle star. They're a great part of the cleanup crew; no need to get rid of it.

YOu absolutely do not want to get rid of it. It is considered highly desireable...you will get more as well

BTW, it is full grown. IF you look closely at your rocks, you may see the arms sticking out. YOu don't commonly see them out of the rocks.

Yep, when I take rocks out to frag a coral, ect. Ive seen up to 10 of them crawl out of even a small rock in the frag bowl. No bigger than a quarter coin....

yea i have literally hundreds to thousands of these guys in my tank, with only one big one (body w/o arms is about the size of a quarter). i freely give these guys away to my friend who has recently started a tank himself. no need to worry, they help ur tank out
