I got some live rock today from the LFS and there is a pinkish looking worm that is out of the rock and when i shine a flash light on it, it goes back into the rock what could this be? it looks like a cintapede kinda it has alot of legs

kinda but it is small and pink in color and it has white legs (might be a baby?) should i get rid of it or can i ?

it is a bristle worm. they are ok when they are small but once they get big they can eat anything....including corals, inverts and fish....like i said anything. Of course, nothing to worry about until they are really huge.

you don't need to get rid of them....they are beneficial for the tank, like i joked earlier if it's 6 feet long then worry.....they usually don't become a problem, no need to stress over them now
