The last two nights my anenomie has been turning himself inside out! :happyfish In the morning he returns to normal. Why is he doing that and what is he doing in there? :notsure:

Mine use to do that when he ate. That is not turned inside out, that is folded up. When they turn inside out it looks like they threw up their guts, Stingy and gooey looking. Thomas is very knowledgeable, maybe he will see this.
Always needed for questions like these are:
tank size and age
filtration
post specifics in parameters (just not that they are fine)
lighting

I've had many similar events with my BTA's, and I can't really tell for sure why it did it. I've seen this event when I didn't feed them, and yet other BTA's in my tank did not do it at all.
Q's:
Is the anemone near any other type of coral? star polyps or mushrooms for instance?
Post water parameters if possible.
Also I'd like to know where in the tank it is, close to glass, at the bottom..etc..
What type of flow is it getting? turnover rate?
I don't think its anything to worry about. But then again maybe we can find out some common denominator as to why they do it.
Here was one of mine doing the same thing.

No other corals ect. but a tube worm that is far away from my anemonie, and some worms. Oh, and I have the same little star fish that you have in your picture. The only thing that I can test right now is the saltiness wich is 1.022. I have included a picture of my tank to show where the anemonie is. I don't know what water flow he is getting, but It's neither fast or realy slow. He turned over last night too. It usualy takes him App. 5-10 minuets. Also it's been four days since I'v fed him so that couldent be why he is doing it. I hope this imformation helps! :happyfish
