What Is On My Glass!!!

I was looking at my glass and I noticed these tiny white bug looking things that were moving on the glass and I have no idea what they are, if anyone has any help I would greatly appreciate it.

Possibly pods, which would be a very good thing. Post a pic if you have one.

did they look like they were attached and one end and kinda swaying to the current? i noticed the same thing last night on mine. they were like little tiny worm lookin things

"little bugs" or "tiny ants" definitely = copepods. Good to have

I too have these. I cant get a good picture with the camera I have. They look like they have two parts with a little tale. They are crawling all over the glass and floating all over the place. I have a 12 gal JBJ nano cube. It is right at two weeks old. Any help would be great. Thanks.

do they help cycle the tank? and can you knock them off the glass, or will that harm them?

You can knock them off when cleaning the glass...impossible not too. They are a good indication that the tank is maturing. Not really "helping" with the cycling, just a normal part of a maturing tank. Don't worry, they are on nearly every surface of the tank (glass, rocks, sand) so you won't be wiping them out when cleaning.
