What is QUALITY food?

Ok. I'm new to this community and also to the amazing world of fish. We recently bought a 115 ga. tank with the following:
- 2 Ocellaris
- 1 Cinnamon Clown (I think)
- 2 Chromis (Chromii?)
- 1 Lawnmower Blenny
- 1 Coral Catfish
- 1 Melanurus Wrasse
- 1 Blue Tang
- 1 sand sifting Goby
- multiple hermit crabs and snails

All we were told was to feed them this "Ocean Nutrition Brine Shrimp Plus Flakes" every 2 or 3 days. This goes against all my research. What is a good quality food and how often should I be feeding them? Also, how much? I'm thinking flakes are not enough. What else should I put in there?

I know we weren't prepared to do this. We should have done way more research. But I have been staring at the tank and researching obsessively ever since.

Thanks in advance. From me and the fish!

I like to feed a variety of frozen food. I use Emerald Entree, spirulina brine, and mysis shrimp. I feed mine daily. I put dried algae sheets, about a 2" x 4" strip every day for my tang. About once a week I feed them flakes just to keep them eating them. If I ever have to leave feeding to someone else or an auto feeder I want to know they will eat flakes.

I feed Cobalt Mysis Spirulina twice daily, with a supplement of frozen mysis once or twice a week. I only feed what they can eat is 3 minutes or less. I used to use algae sheets, but it made such a mess that I stopped almost two years ago. My coral beauty and yellow tang seem to get all the algae they need from the spirulina, and from grazing on the rocks. I've been feeding Cobalt flakes for over 1 1/2 years, and everything in my tank seems to enjoy it. It's also low in Phosphate... :D

Thank you for your responses thus far! Should I be feeding them everyday? I don't want to overdo it, but I don't want them to starve!

You don't have to but I think it is better for them. Some graze but not all. You just don't want to feed too much. Like Pegasus said only what they can eat in 3-5 minutes.

As far as frozen I like hikari. I feed , mysis, brine, spirulina brine, plankton, and mega marine frozen. I do feed alage sheets. New life spectrum pellets and occasionally flake. I feed every day, I hate seeing thin "boney" fish.
