That's a powerful bulb. What kind of Coral do you plan on or have in the tank?

How so....It would be very slow at growing coral...Now if you said what kind of 1000 watt 65k then I would say thats a strong bulb..
I would go with Phoenix or Reeflux

A 250 isnt that powerful of a bulb...Maybe I was confusued about you comment...250 are kinda middle of the road..

Just blue...not more powerfull really...looks great grows coral slow

not necessarily. it all depends on the bulb, the ballast, and the coral in question.
