What is the best "dead" sand to use?

I have seen a lot of you guys using Carib Sea reef sand. Personally, I have always used crushed coral and it has sparked an algae recently. Where can I buy this Carib Sea reef sand? send me a PM or email if you dont want to put a website on here. my email is garfunkle1989@gmail.com

you should be able to grab a bag at the LFS. if not, go to the manufactures website and do a search for local businesses that sell it.

i would say is cheaper to buy it locally in large amounts because of the shipping weight..
