Fish or invert? What kind of tank do you have?

Best and safest I would say Nassarius and Cerith snails.
Nass for protein base.
Cerith for vegetable base.

yellow head sleeper gobies are great sifters but only in a larger tank. anything under 100G and they will turn your DT into a snow globe.

unless you have something in the tank that would eat the snails....

dont go with the stars they will devastate the sand bed and mico fauna in a smaller tank.
all the suggests above are great ones. also look into some of the cucumbers.

I have a yellow headed sleeper in a 28g, and must say it has never turned my tank to a snowglobe. I would highly recommend this fish.
