What is the correct rock formation

I have 2 biocubes and 1 ten gallon nano but im wonder what is the most "correct" rock formation. I know it comes down to personal opinion but just wondering how others set up their rocks, and what their option is for the correct way.
One my Biocube 29, I have all of my rocks stacked into 1 structure that is in the center, not touching the glass. Im assuming this is the correct way as it allows a person to completely wipe the glass and provide current to all of the tank with no dead spots.
One my BC14, i have the rock wall method, looks nice with polyps, but it makes the glass harder to clean and under the return, can cause deadspots.
So what do you think.

There is no "correct" way...but there are guide lines...
  • Leave space so you can clean the glass.
  • Make sure the rocks lock into place with each other to prevent rock slides that could kill your critters or break the tank.
leave nooks and crannies, so fish can hide

mine are against the back but are at an angle. the base of the rock is 1" away from the wall and then they are leant up against the glass...that way i can have a wall but still put a mini powerhead to blow behind them. the way i arranged my rock to the way i like it was shutting my eyes and randomly placing rocks in my tank. then i just straightened them up and made sure they were secure.
