I've read that 6 inches is its max. Is that true?
What is the max size for tiger tail seahorses?

yes that is what ive read that it grows to 6 inches max.

I found both of these under the name of Tiger tail, but after looking I'm quite certain you are correct.

I would wager a guess that the males do get slightly larger, the site that I found this info on posted this next to max length:

Tiger tails or h comes are a smaller horse. Every site I found them on was max of 6 inches. It could be males get larger, not sure.
