I was about to order a halide pc pendant combo. I think it was about $460. I want to keep clams and hard corals probaly. The tank is 27 inches deep. The pendant i was looking at was 17.5" x 14" x 6" it would fit pretty good. Also my LFS has the mercedes benz of refuge i was checkin out today $750 bills. Come with the best of the best. The LS, Top line skimmer, small bio ball section, pc lights anything you can think of to build the ultimate refuge. I wanted to take it off the shelf and run out the store :D . Im cool with the owner and he said he would hook me up. He said if i bought it i would get #50s live rock for free. Cured Live rock is 7.99 a # where i live.

27 in deep i would recomend 250 watt mh min. think about 400
my 250 pendant is 17.5 x 10.5 x 3.5 high cost me 279$

Where ever did you get it from. Is it a retrofit kit. The one i was looking at was $460. Its a medal halide and power compact combo. What do you use for achtinics. And what kinda tank do you have. is yours hung from the celling.

skip the fuge- i dont think it is worth it no matter what it comes with- and a 400W HQI pendant would be nice- 20K would be cool

i have a deal set up - i frag corals to him to sell and in return
he sells items for 30% off to me
the pendant i have is a hqi 250 double ended10,000k i was told there coming
out with 20,000k bulb
i run 2 150w 20,000k on each side of the 250 but i'm getting another 250 in
about 2 weeks
i'm upgrading to 250's all around becuase 150w do not put out enough light for sps
i've seen people negotiate prices in the store before, maybe your lfs wants your money
and is willing to cut you a deal. i have 5 lfs in a 15 mile radius each store has low prices
on different areas equip., fish, corals etc. shop around - i like online shopping
becuase there is no sales tax
