What is the most quiet skimmers and filters?

Ok the wife wants a quite skimmer. The skimmer I have is a Via-Aqua MSD-1. Happy Reff, Big911dog and Efforesce pointed me in a great direction for the brand of skimmer for quality. Now I need to find out about sound???? Is there such a thing as a quiet skimmer? Is the Aqua C Remora Pro less loud then my Via-Aqua? Is there a remote skimmer that I can put down in my cabinet? Also the filter is a Rena Filstar XP2. Is this a bad filter? Is there a filter that is not so loud? Any help woud be greatly appreciated... thanks.

my euro reef is in the stand, but its even with the cabinet open its still quiet. sorry guys, not gonna be able to talk me out of my euro reef
