$1200.00 + on a yellow tang ............actually it was not me, it wa a person I know, that had a few beers too many and was at the poinmt he was able to start stocking his tank. Late at night shortly before ***** closed he decides to make a quick dash to get a fish. He races to the store buys a $24.99 tang and hurries home, and while driving with signs of intoxication he is holding up the bag with the fish in it looking at it while he is "driving", needless to say he is spotted, driving erratically, and also well over the speed limit, and he gets pulled over. Fish hgot to spend the night in the bag in the front seat of his car while it was towed off to police impound yard, he spent night in jail, cost him over $1,200 plus loss of his DL, and mandatory attendance in a driving class, plus insurance is now higher........plus the cost of towing and impounding his car........so the $1,200 figure he stated is just a starter. Only good thing is no one was killed not even his fish in his ordeal. MIghty expensive yellow tang.

My most expensive fish was an $85 4" hippo tang. At the same time, I bought a $65 flame angel. Both are doing fine.
