What is this all over my live rock?

sorry for the dumb question guys but i cant really tell if these are sponges or eggs or what...their are hundreds of these little buggers all over my rocks.

looks like pineapple sponges. They usually show up a few months after your tank is done cycling. Then slowly go away with time.
