WHAT IS THIS CRAB ???????????????

can anyone tell me what kind of crab this is ? He has red legs and claws with a green spotted black body. He really cleans well but kills all my snails and hermits. He's got to go and i finaly caught him but im wondering what he is. I have pics but dont know how this show them e-mail me and ill send them if helpful

Yikes! I hope it's not really a threat to it's tankmates, because I think that the same type of crab hitchhiked into my tank along with some live rock that I purchased recently. It's body is larger than a quarter in size, and gray-green-black in appearance with a reddish-orange underbelly. So far I don't think that it's caused any trouble, but I've got my eye on it. It has been causing a lot of 'clicking' sounds in my tank though, and I think that it's burrowing a home into some of the rock.
This guy's reclusive as can be, but I managed to grab a few shots of it while feeding the fish a month ago. It's hiding under some rock, but here's a decent shot of it's face:

1ST how did you put up the picks?????? 2nd no it has a white under belly but its body is a little bigger than a quarter and is visible most of the time it only runs when i was trying to catch it. but its been very destuctive in my tank eat my plants (unknown name) and eats my good algae up its been a real pain in the a** for me. How do i put in a pic??

by the picture you have and what i can see of it,,it looks like the same thing we have,we have problems with it eating fish also,we have 3 of them that hitch hiked in on our rocks,,i believe they are called stone crabs,,anything we put in our tank is getting missing

i had one of them on my rock i was told that it was a rock crab to, in doing some checking if u have fish that hide when 1 goes in a crab hole they have a tendency to ambush it from behind so u might want to get him out, u can make a trap out of a soda bottle and try that 1st that's what drew mine out and i got him
