Found him hanging out on the overflow and not sure if it's safe or not to keep in the tank. It seems to be some sort of slug - or shell"less" snail? He's a little smaller than the size of a pea. So is he safe to release or should I dispose of him otherwise?
looks kind of like these snails that are in my tank. They just started appearing. They leave my corals alone and are voracious algae eaters. Though like the smashing pumpkins said, "They only come out at night. The light is much too bright."
This one doesn't seem to mind the light....I didn't notice him come out until about an hour after lights on and he was far from any possible hiding places when I caught him
