What is this stuff?

This fuzzy, plantish looking stuff is growing on my rocks, powerheads, basically anywhere it can find a home. I believe it prefers places with a medium or low flow because I don't see it on the areas that recieve a full blast from the powerheads.
It's not taking over by any means, but I'd like to know what it is. If I spent some time with a brush I could probably get rid of all of it. But, I'm not that interested in removing it since it's just an eyesore and not really affecting that much. I'd rather just know it's name.
Anyone know the name of this stuff?

Maybe it's because I'm viewing from my phone, but could you point out specifically what in the picture you're trying to get the name of?

It is just detritus build up that collects in low flow areas. It is a good idea to blast the area with a turkey baster before a water change.

Or you could move your powerheads around and get more flow in those areas... and force the detritus to get into your mechanical filtration for easy removal.
