What is this thing?

Good day everyone! I just set myself up with a 24 gallon nanocube last week. Today I picked up my first bit of live rock and put it in the water. Checking it out, I saw this little guy sitting on the rock. I'm thinking and hoping that its an amphipod so I don't have to remove it. Thanks for your help.

Great! Thanks for the reply. I hoped that's what it was but its hard to tell from a pic. Now I've got something to watch while this tank cycles.
