What is this thing?

Yes he has a hermit crab looking shell, but he's long and he has one long thick "tentacle" that goes straight up. Very strange little creature.

That's a Nassarius (sp?) snail.

I have one that accumulates sediment on it's back. It is EXTREMELY hard to see if it's on the sand. It looks like a mobile sandpile unicorn thing. And it can haul anus. By far my fastest snail. (is that an oxymoron?) :notsure:
