What is this thing???

I ordered a cleaner crew from swf and they sent me something that was supposed to be a cucumber but I don't think that it was. I emailed them to find out what it was and never got a reply. It is about an inch thick and 4 1/2 inches long. It clings to my live rock and looks like its waste is my sand in a tube. I don't know what I should do with it, could it be harmful, should I keep it, is it beneficial because it sure isn't pretty!

I have a black cucumber that could be described in much the same way...
Although not very attractive, it does an excellent job cleaning the sand.
