ok i bought a reef clean up pkg on the auction site and they say these are decorater crabs are they and are they safe for a reef, also if not what do they look like..thanks

Whoa. I've never seen a Decorator crab not decorated. If your worried that they're not Decorator Crabs you can always put them in a QT tank and see if they decorate themselves. Although if you've run copper in your QT tank, that's a bad idea.

yep i've done a google search and i have found some that are not orange and it looks like them but still afraid , because once they're in they are in...

I thought decorator crabs were bad for reef tanks because they went around removing bits of coral to decorate themselves with?

once they have themselfs covered they don't bother stuff, people say it is a good way to seed different parts of the tank, we'll see
