We bought this at our lfs, and the owner has identified it as a white mushroom, but since we brought it home we have noticed that the base is much larger than a typical mushroom, and it is extremely sensitive to its surroundings. Our coral banded touched it the other day and it curled up into a weird ball...any ideas?it appears very happy and our first thought was that it was bleached. Looks like a white hairy mushroom...
