what is this??

i had my fish for about 1.5 weeksand when i gothim he had like a "piece of fuzz" on its side. but now it doesent look like fuzz any more but has the same color as it. you can only see it if the light hits his body a certain way.

re:::::: when i got him the fuzz was actually sticking on him but now it looks like "in or on the skin" not sticking out anymore

It sounds like a parasite. Do you have this fish in a quarantine tank?

no i dont i dont have a qt tank because i only have a 10 gallon with some lr, inverts, starfish,shrimp
