What is up with my anemone?

Hey,
I have a Long tentacle anemone for a couple week now. I just noticed that the anemone has rolled itself into a ball. Then after about 5 minutes it came back out. My lfs told me that is was digesting the food i gave him yesterday. Could anyone please let me know waht just happened. Thank you!

Could be expelling waste
Could be expelling water and getting ready for a move.
Its what they do, expand and contract with lighting schedule, eating, moving, water conditions, water movement, preditors.
I'm no expert but is sounds normal to me, my BTA's do the same on occation.

Its also a defense mechanism maybe it felt threatened some how and went into its base then when it felt safe it came back out
