I have a 55 gal. tank and i have a blue regal tang which is about 2", and a coral banded shrimp. I'm also going to buy a Humu Humu Trigger fish and a porcupine puffer fish. Is this enough fish or could I get more? If i can get more what kind do you suggest?

Trey is right the Puffer will grow fast and can get to (as one of mine is) a foot long and very hungry. A 55 is to narrow for a Puffer that is large they need a 18 to 24 inch deep tank to be able to turn and move comfortably. Plus again I mention that I do not believe in mixing Triggers and Puffers regardless what the comp charts say it is trouble waiting to happen and it will in time.

Hey,
I've got a 55gal reef tank and I really wanted a tang also. I've done some research and talked to the folks here and I can't have one. :( Oh well, there are lots of other awesome fish out there! One little tang needs a lot of swimming room and grows to be a big tang with even more room required. Sigh.......
Take care,
Dan'l :D

you are going to lose the cbs with a trigger, he will have a big smile on his face. I hope you rethink your fish selection. Good Luck
