As for clams I would stay away from the Maxima and Crocea. The Derasa clam might work but I personally wouldn't add one. Clams also should be added to a mature tank that has been up and running for at least 6 months.

I have a very small cheap filter that I got from one of the pet chain stores. Not sure of the brand. I only use the filter pad. I do 10% water changes weekly so I do not have to dose anything.

i had frogspawn and bubble coral under 2x24watt t5's... and they did great. then i got pc's and there doing ever better.
