I'm thinking of setting up my 30 gallon tank thats laying around and if I do set it up its going to be a FOWLR. So is there any kind of eel that can be kept in a 30 gallon tank? The tank is 30 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 19 inches high.

Mabe the white ribbon or golden dwarf eels would work, but neither are easily aquired. I kept a snowflake in a 29g for about 1 year, but it clearly needed more space and was moved to my 77g. So I guess the simple answer is, no.

The only eel i could think of that might fit into a 30 gallon for life is a Dwarf Golden Eel since they only get to about 12".
Snowflakes need at least a 70 gallon for life.

Ok, so i guess im not going to get a eel. Maybe i might? If i will want a eel ill probably go with the golden dwarf but im thinking im not going to get an eel because the golden eel is too pricey.
