What Kind of Fish Now?

Do any of you have any suggestions on what kind of fish I can add to my 50g tank? It only finished cycling 3 weeks ago and currently has a scooter blennie, perc. clown and long nosed hawk in it. Needless to say it's a bit empty right now. Considered a regal tang but hear that they are prone to diseases and should go into a more established tank. Also thought about a flame angel or coral beauty but there again they should go into a more established tank. I was hoping to find something bigger than the 3 I have in there now but still be peaceful. Ya know something that just swims around looking pretty. Too much to ask?

Well lets se, there are many cool fish that could go in there. You could look into cardinal fishes(dont really swim, just kinda hover), damsels/chromis, grammas(again dont really swim that much, but will when acclimated), you could wait a while for an angel, there are some gobies that swim alot. also some blennies such as midas and bicolor will swim. could you keep a foxface in there? im not sure how big they get. well i hope this gives you some ideas on a new fish. there are many more that i didnt mention so read up and find one you want. later, bo

Thanks for the reply. What kind of wrasses do you suggest? My husband really wants a fox face. Don't know much about them ie hardiness, temperment etc. Does anyone out there have any input on them? I only have a 50g tank so I don't know if that is too small for them.

one of my future additions will be a six-line wrasse.....extremely kewl fish....been watching one close at the lfs.....soon will snag it for my fowlr/ls.....

check out the compatibility chart, read up on the fish,,,,, also be sure you have good filtration,,,, also be sure to have places for the fish to hide if chased,,,,, getting 4-5 firefish would look nice..... the cardnals 4-5 in a group look good and you might get lucky as these guys will breed in captivity..... but the whole thing is up to you because its YOUR TANK and not mine (LOL) well good luck and take it slow.......
