What kind of garlic to soak food in

usually i use kyolic garlic extract found in gnc stores,
just put a few drops on the food and let it soak in for a while before u feed it to the fish

I use the garlic "bulbs" (for lack of a better word) you can buy at the gocery store, I pull a clove out, cut it in 3-4 pieces and add all the food and some water, soak overnight and then use tongs to get out the pieces and then feed.
