What kind of heater to get?

I was wondering what kind of heater I need to get. I want to place the heater in the sump and I should have around 125 gallons of water sump/tank. What do you guys think I should go with? Thanks for all you help.

i have a aqua medic i like it alot. I have seen alot ofpeople use wn brothers i have tried 2 and they quit working mabey cause i got them off the aucton site.

I'd use (2) Jager 250w heaters. If you use GFIs (which you should), set up 2 GFIs if possible and place each heater on a separate GFI.
This way:
1. If one GFI blows or one heater fails, you don't loose heat.
2. If one heater sticks on, it won't "cook" your tank as fast, giving you more time to intervene.
I've never seen a Jager fail in either "on" or "off." I've seen Wons fail, that's why I made the switch.

I had 2 fail luckily in the off position thats why i did the switch

Well whaddaya know.
Well I'd say that if a poll were to be taken that most folks here will tell you that the failure rate of wons is sky high compared to Jagers.
To have not one, but to jager failures is amazing. You musta had some run of bad luck. Step on any black cats under a ladder lately?

i have yet to here anything bad or good about aqua medic heater and im also running it through my reefkeeper 2.
