What kind of paint?

I am going to paint the inside of my canopy white and just wanted to know what is the best type of paint to use?

I used marine paint. It is easy for me to get since I live near a lot of marinas I guess any oil based enamel would work well. I painted it outside and let it dry for a couple of days before I put it on my tank.

Thanks for the help. I am going to get some white oil based enamel to paint the inside and I will probably just poly the outside. I like the wood look
