What kind of puffer???

not a puffer expert but...correct me if i am wrong..your puffer looks like it has stripes...could be a manila or striped puffer aka arothron manilensis.

that looks like a fahaka puffer. If I am not mistaken, they are a brackish water fish that can be transitioned into full saltwater over a period of time. When I got my fugu puffer for my classroom, this is what I really wanted, but my LFS couldn't get one at the time. One of my former students currently has one and it looks EXACTLY like that.

maybe not...in looking closer at the tails, they are different...and I was thinking of my fugu when I mentioned that the fahaka was brackish...the fahaka is freshwater.
