Alright listen up
I get home from work yesterday, and go to feed my fish and notice the lights are out
To make a long story short A hose to canister filter underneath tank was leaking
Well water got to the ballast and in turn shorted it out
Luckily I had a canopy from a different tank 2 175 mh bulbs, so I threw it on top of the tank to keep lights on
Anyway my question is what lights should I go with when I purchase new
The tank is 65 gal. flat back half hex acrylic tank. Previous lighting was 2 96 watt pc's (kept all corals under these lights for the last 3 4 years) call me crazy but I actually think looking at my coral's now with mh's I think the pc's show more color on corals
unless I was just used it it for so long. I would like to stay with fluorescent's. Taking all suggestions. Thanks.........
