What lighting?

So i have been looking around at a 55 gallon fish tank, what kinda lighting would be good, i dont need anything extreme, something to do some soft corals maybe and thats about it..

Take a look at the low end T5 fixtures. 4 54 watt lamps will be plenty for soft corals and LPS. Finex, current and Catalina all make cheap units that will work, JUST DON'T CONFUSE THEM WITH THE GOOD T5's. With good lamps any of the above could support SPS on top of the rocks but don't be trying to do what people with the good system are.
