What makes Angel fish such Titans/Dominators?

You always here a large angel species will usually end up being king of your aquarium and things like perhaps only certain triggers may be a match for them ect but then I started thinking what exactly are the war tools of these fish? They dont seem to have the teeth of a trigger or even a harliquin tusk for that matter. They dont have the locking fins of a trigger, the sharp slashing spine of a tang or foxface, defense mechanism or crushing teeth of a puffer, Large mouth of a grouper, poisonous spines of a lionfish....I mean really what makes these such bad ass fish? I realize they arent barracudas but whats to keep an equal size tang from slicing one up or why would an equal size whatever be intimidated by one? Is it all just additude and demeanor? Do they actually fight better than most fish?

first off even tho harlequins have big teeth they really dont know how to use them
and a large angel with the teeth the have can leave a formital bite mark on most fish
Second All angels have a nice sharp
